 I have watched with disgrace how Kenyans have behaved themselves in the just concluded party primaries.but one Kenyan real interested me, his level of intelligent really inspired me.this is what he said

“democracy is the only foolish game where the fools vote while the foolish are voted in. i sympatise  with Kenyans who waste their time participating in such scams in the name of democracy .political parties are personal baskets and the owner of the  basket will determine who touch the basket.Obado  will be rigged out of Migori race and many more…………..instead of Kenyans going about their duties of putting the expensive  unga on the table,they are busy participating in the futile exercises that have already been determined by the basket owners.Why waste time demonstrating and yet you are not the owner of the basket. Wake up Kenyans! Work for your children not for politician . Parties in Kenya belong to the sons of colonial chiefs (Uhuru and Raila) the other small parties are just items to be bought by the two sons of the colonial chiefs ”

Joho gets it rough,resident rejects

The Hassan Joho administration that has been used to squandering Mombasa residents devolved funds got a rude shock when residents opposed  their budgets estimates .while carrying placards and chanting anti- Joho sentiments they rejected the estimate terming the budgets as pro-tycoon and not a people budgets.from the estimates budget of Kshs 10.8 billion the county plans to spend a mere 30 % for capital expenditure while 70 % will be spent on recurrent expenditure; this is in contradiction of the law.                                  “Tumechoka  kunyanyaswa na sultan Mombasa ,hakuna cha maana alichofanya,kazi kula tu.Takataka kila pahala,maji hakuna, madawa ya kulevya kila mtaa.tumechoka jameni .”one mother shouted..However county assembly finance committee chairman (who is Joho sycophant) Mohammed khatimy defended the estimates claiming that the budgets had distributed funds to all keys areas

The estimates per department include the following

•   Department of transport and infrastructure is getting sh 1.4 billion

•   Department of education kshs 1.3 billion

•   County assembly Kshs 716 million

•   County executive Ksh 598 million

•  Youth ,gender and sport Ksh 551 million

•   Trade,energy and industry ksh 460 million

Just note that the county executive (comprising of the governor,his deputy and a few county secretaries) are pocketing Ksh 598 million;this is more than what the whole youth,women and the physically challenged consisting of over 800,000 people (81 % of population) will get from the county collectively.this is a complete lack of sense to humanity on the part of governor Joho.
